On 19th October, the new egg logistics centre for Eierring Herzogstuhl opened in Zeiselberg near Klagenfurt, coinciding with the company’s 25-year anniversary. Guests who were invited to the opening ceremony were given glimpses into the work processes in the new packaging facility. The plant features a Staalkat Alpha 125 egg sorting machine which can sort up to 45,000 eggs per hour. This machine is equipped with a multi-loader, an electronic sensor to detect breakage, dirt and tiniest fractures, 10 packing belts with closing devices, and an inkjet printing system. We would like to take this opportunity to wish the four families (Wakonig, Krenn, Kulterer and Scharf) all the best for the future and much success with their new facility!
